Kevin Wehrli
Owner & Managing Member
Born and raised in Blair, Nebraska, Kevin Wehrli is a seasoned entrepreneur and problem solver with a relentless drive for innovation and operational excellence. With deep roots in the community and decades of experience across multiple industries, Kevin has built a reputation as a leader who turns challenges into opportunities.
Kevin founded KRW Construction in May 2000, growing it into a respected name in the heavy civil and rail construction industry. In 2022, he successfully sold the rail division of KRW Construction, marking a major milestone in the company’s evolution.
Since 2005, Kevin has also managed Marie Gordon Investments, expanding his business interests in real estate and private investments.
In January 2020, Kevin launched Total Truck and Machine, bringing his hands-on expertise in equipment and heavy fleet operations to the fabrication, custom rail carts, and upfitting services sectors. Recognizing further opportunities, he established Certified Fleet Services in 2022, providing dependable fleet maintenance and repair solutions.
Never one to rest, Kevin is currently developing OnTrak, a groundbreaking venture focused on high-rail tele-crawler cranes for the railroad industry, alongside custom rail cart manufacturing and rentals. This new business reflects his passion for engineering and practical problem-solving, aimed at modernizing and improving rail infrastructure operations.
An inventor at heart, Kevin holds multiple inventions and patents, with a natural ability to identify inefficiencies and engineer practical, solution-driven products. His leadership philosophy is built on being solution-oriented, surrounding himself with talented teams, and fostering strong partnerships.
Kevin’s entrepreneurial journey is defined by his ability to spot unmet needs, build businesses from the ground up, and deliver reliable, innovative solutions across industries.
Kevin Abbott
Regional Account Manager
Kevin is an accomplished sales and operations professional with over a decade of experience in territory management, business development, and production leadership.
Prior to joining Total Truck and Machine in 2024, Kevin Abbott served as a Territory Sales Manager at Reading Truck, where he played a key role in driving revenue growth, enhancing profitability, and strengthening customer relationships across dealer accounts, municipalities, regional fleets, and government-level customers. With his abilities and knowledge in strategic approach to market expansion and account management contributed to long-term success and customer loyalty.
Before Reading Truck, Kevin excelled as a Team Lead at PALFINGER Group in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where they oversaw assembly line operations, production scheduling, and quality control. His leadership ensured efficiency, adherence to safety standards, and continuous process improvements. They also spearheaded training initiatives and collaborated across departments to optimize manufacturing performance.
With a proven track record in sales growth, operational leadership, and customer satisfaction, Kevin brings valuable expertise to Total Truck and Machine along with his ability to develop new market opportunities and enhance operational efficiency which aligns with the company’s mission for continued success.
